New, slow, broken, or not connecting? Start here.
Moving into a new computer, getting Wi-Fi to reach the whole building, or fixing the one that quit on you. Every one of these can start with a free pickup from your door.
01 — Data migration & Windows upgrades
New computer? We move everything over.
Files, photos, email, and settings, all moved from your old computer to the new one, and then we get you on the latest Windows. It's one of the most common jobs we do, and it's the kind of thing that eats a whole weekend when you try it yourself: finding where everything lives, copying it without missing anything, and getting the new machine set up the way you're used to.
Keeping the computer you have? We can also clone your old drive onto a new one, often a faster solid-state drive, so you keep everything exactly as it was, just quicker.
Still on Windows 10? Microsoft ended support for it in October 2025. Ask us about upgrading the computer you have, or moving everything onto a new one.
What's included
- Moving files, photos, and documents from your old computer to your new one
- Moving your email over
- Bringing your settings over, so the new machine feels familiar

- Upgrading to the latest version of Windows
- Setting up a brand-new computer so it's ready to use
02 — Networking & security
Wi-Fi that reaches the back bedroom.
Dead zones, dropouts, a router the cable company handed you years ago. We design and install networks that actually cover the building — homes, offices, shops and warehouses — and lock them down properly while we're in there.
- Whole-home and whole-office Wi-Fi design, mesh and access point installs
- Wired network drops, patch panels and structured cabling
- Ubiquiti UniFi firewall installation (more below)
- Router and switch configuration
- Network security hardening, password and access cleanup
- Automated backup so a bad day doesn't become a bad quarter
- Printer setup and shared-printer troubleshooting
Ubiquiti UniFi firewall installation
Most homes and small offices are online through whatever box the internet provider handed over. It covers the basics. A Ubiquiti UniFi gateway is a real hardware firewall that sits between your network and the internet. It watches the traffic coming in and helps block aggressive attacks and suspicious connections before they reach your computers, cameras, and everything else on your network.
We consider this one of the most important things we install.
No monthly subscription required. You buy the hardware once and it keeps working. Ubiquiti does sell some optional paid extras. If anything you ask for needs one, we'll tell you up front.
Ask about a firewall installWhat we do
- Recommend the right UniFi gateway for your home or business
- Install it between your internet connection and your network
- Set up the firewall and security settings
- Tie it into your Wi-Fi and wired network, or build a UniFi network around it
- Show you how to see what it's doing
03 — Computer & laptop repair
Most "it's dead" computers aren't.
A machine that won't boot, blue-screens, overheats, or has slowed to the point of uselessness is usually one failed component or one software mess away from being fine. We find out which, and tell you whether it's worth fixing — even when the honest answer is "replace it."
- Won't power on, won't boot, stuck on a logo, blue screen loops
- Virus, malware, ransomware and adware removal
- Slow-machine tune-ups: startup cleanup, thermal paste, dust and fan service
- Hardware replacement: drives, memory, batteries, laptop screens, hinges and power jacks
- SSD and memory upgrades that make an older machine usable again
- Windows and macOS reinstalls
04 — Data recovery
The photos matter more than the laptop.
Failed drives, accidental deletions, corrupted partitions, drives that click. We evaluate the drive first and tell you what's realistically recoverable before you spend anything — because sometimes the honest answer is "not much," and you deserve to hear that up front rather than after an invoice.
- Hard drive and SSD recovery, including drives that won't show up
- Recovering deleted or lost photos, documents and financial records
- Recovery from external drives, USB drives and memory cards
- Backup setup afterward, so it doesn't happen twice
05 — Business IT & installations
For businesses too small for an IT department.
If your "IT guy" is currently the employee who's least afraid of computers, we can take that off their plate. Ongoing support by retainer, or per-visit when you need us — plus commercial and residential installations from the ground up.
- Ongoing IT support: full-time, retainer, or per-visit
- New office setups: workstations, cabling, network and printer setup
- Commercial and residential installations
- Home theater and TV mounting
- Technology consultation — you describe the problem, we scope the fix
Refurbished desktops & laptops
Good machines, already checked out by us.
Not every problem needs a brand-new laptop. We keep refurbished desktops and laptops in the shop that have been tested, cleaned and set up by our own technicians before they go on the shelf.
Call to ask what's in stock- Tested and set up before sale
- We'll tell you which one actually fits what you do with it
- We can move your files and settings over from your old machine
What it costs
You get the number before we start.
We diagnose first, then call you with the actual problem and the actual price. Nothing gets repaired — and nothing gets billed — until you say yes. If a part has to be ordered, that's a second call, not a surprise.
Ready when you are
Tell us what you need. We'll take it from there.
