Why "Paramedic"
Because nobody's computer breaks at a convenient time.
It fails the night before a deadline. The morning of a closing. The week grades are due. By the time somebody calls us, it isn't really about a computer anymore — it's about the work, the photos, the business, or the kid who can't get into class.
A paramedic's job is to get there fast, figure out what's actually wrong, stabilize it, and tell you the truth about what happens next. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's why we drive to your door instead of asking you to drive to ours.
How we work
- Diagnose before we quote. You get a phone call with the real problem and the real price before anything is repaired.
- No surprise line items. If a part has to be ordered, that's a second call, not something you discover on the invoice.
- We'll tell you not to fix it. When a machine isn't worth the repair, we say so — and talk you through a refurbished or new option instead.
- Plain English, always. You should be able to explain to your spouse what we did and why it cost what it cost.
The shop
A door you can walk through.
We're at 8400 Fairview Rd, Suite E in Mint Hill, open six days a week. That matters more than it sounds like it should. A physical shop means there's somewhere to bring the machine, somewhere to pick up a refurbished laptop, and somebody accountable standing behind the counter.
It also means we're not going anywhere. We've had the same name in the same town for twenty-five years, and we'd like to keep it that way.
